In these stories, the reader again encounters Borges' obsessions with the binary of reality/fantasy as well as concepts of infinity, labyrinths control. Pay attention to the titles: Babel and Babylon; figure out their relation to the stories. Also pay attention to the date these stories were written (early 1940's). Choose one of the stories to analyze according to the implications you sort out in the above. Remember that literary analysis is not a right or wrong endeavor. Take some chances with your thinking.
